'...it was so dirty, with dirty bed sheets' King Kaka recalls tough times with Nana Owiti

King Kaka made the right decision changing his name from Rabit because just after that his career took a scale up.

Remembering the hard knock life, he took to social media appreciating Nana who stood by him even when he was earning just ksh480 for a performance in Mombasa.

During this concert, King Kaka revealed he and wife Nana slept on dirty sheets at the time as they were dating.

Thanks for the moments, thanks for the years , and most importantly thanks for believing in the Dream when I was Rabbit , remember way back when I had a ‘gig’ in Mombasa and it flopped , the owner gave us Kshs 480, a lodging to sleep in and it was so dirty , with dirty bedsheets, we spent the whole night telling stories on how I will one day make it in the music industry buying time as we waited for the 1st morning ferry.

The fact that Nana stuck with him through thick and thin makes him want to shed a few tears.
