The Kenyan Government has secured a loan amounting to Sh 35 billion from Germany saying the financing will go towards financing various projects in the country under the President’s Big 4 Agenda.

The announcement comes just few days after the Principal Secretary for Treasury Kamau Thugge announced that the government is seeking an extension of 10 years to pay a Ksh77 billion syndicated loan of 2015 that is due on April 2019.
