Kenya Power steps up campaign against vandalism

Kenya Power has embarked on a countrywide clampdown on illegal power connections that cost the company billions of shillings annually. The utility firm says Nairobi, Rift Valley, and Kiambu regions are the worst affected regions. The company further says cases of transformer vandalism have gone down by more than 80 percent since the government banned the trade of scrap metal a month ago.
