Tanzania's Taifa Stars have sealed a place in the next round of the Africa Nations Championship after stunning Kenya 4-1 on penalties in a thrilling match played at Kasarani Stadium on Sunday, August 4.
Both sides came into the match with everything to play for having settled for a goalless draw in the reverse fixture of the two legged affair played in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
Kenya, who were clear favourites into the second leg however failed to take advantage of home support to bury the game early, with Tanzania staging a buoyant performance to force the hosts into a barren draw.
Sebastien Migne's men dominated proceedings in either halves, but were particularly wasteful in the final third, with Whyvonne Isuza squandering a glorious chance in the 77th minute as he failed to control the ball with only the keeper to beat.
