Harambee Stars striker Erick Kapaito has joined newly promoted Ethiopian Premier League side Arba Minch City from Kariobangi Sharks.

The immediate FKF Premier League top scorer joins the club on a two-year deal.

His move comes just days after he won the FKF Premier League Most Valuable Player award for the 2020/21 season.

The 25-year-old also scooped the Golden Boot Award after scoring a total of 24 goals with five assists in 30 league matches.

Kapaito was part of the national team Harambee Stars that recently played against Uganda and Rwanda in the Fifa World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifying games.

Kapaito joins former Wazito Football Club skipper Bernard Ochieng, who also joined the club just a week ago.

Arba Minch are bolstering their squad ahead of the new Ethiopian Premier League season after earning promotion from the Ethiopian Higher League last season.
