Kesses MP Swarup Mishra is now campaigning for his re-election using an armoured car after falling out with Deputy President William Ruto.
Last week, the DP asked the locals to reject the first-time lawmaker.
He said Mishra, who Kenyan-Indian, should respect the Kesses dwellers and leaders in the Rift Valley region.
“We elected him because we do not discriminate, but if continues this way, we will vote him out,” he said.
He added that the wealthy politician should not think that he will bribes voters to get a second term.
“I heard that he will buy voters, does he think that we are that cheap? He should buy goats and cows not people,” he said.
Since then, Mishra has been using his armoured Land Cruiser car to moved around the constituency yo market himself.
He is facing off with Julius Ruto of UDA.
