Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana is not turning back on his quest to replace President Uhuru Kenyatta whose second presidential term ends in 2022.
The governor promised to work with every Kenyan so as to shape everything together and achieve the nation's dreams and aspirations once he wins in the presidential poll.
Kivutha who officially declared his intention to capture the top seat, said he was overwhelmed by reception and support soon after the announcement on June 26.
"Kenyans, I am overwhelmed by your reception of my presidency announcement. We are in this together to the end. We shall shape everything together. For a change there is going to be public participation in establishing our future leadership,"he said.
The second time county boss said had carefully hand analysed comments and reactions his candidature declaration attracted and was convinced he was the best bet.
"I have followed the conversation carefully and I am grateful for the comments. I am encouraged. My candidature will crowdsource ideas on the Kenya we deserve. We shall be on this together until August 2022 and beyond God willing. That is my prayer,"he stated.
