The 2019/2020 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season kicks off this Friday afternoon with two matches on card.
Last season’s third place finishers Sofapaka will host Posta Rangers at Narok County stadium while Kariobangi Sharks will be up against Western Stima at Machakos County stadium.
Sofapaka head coach Da Silva Alves who was officially unveiled as the club’s new coach had earlier expressed optimism with his current squad after the club unveiled 11 new players.
The ‘Batoto Ba Mungu’ has won all their 3 last matches against the Rangers having claimed a 1-0 win on 29th August 2018 and a similar score line on 23rd January last year.

The last encounter between the two sides was in May this year where Sofapaka narrowly won 3-2.
