One person has been injured in an explosion at Nairobi's Latema Road-Tom Mboya Street junction. Reports say a man hired a trolley pusher to carry a box. It is suspected the box contained an Improvised Explosive Device which exploded.

The man who hired the trolley pusher ran away immediately after the explosion. The injured man has been rushed to the hospital. Bomb experts currently combing the area and the public has been urged to stay away from the scene. Traffic is building up along Moi Avenue around Khoja Mosque as police stop motorists from accessing the Tom Mboya Street. More Follows...Related Topics
