Manhunt underway for brothers who allegedly killed father in Kisii

Police have launched a major manhunt for two brothers who allegedly killed their father in Kisii.

According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Boniface Osoro Saisi alias Bob and Getaro Osoro descended on their 60-year-old father with a slasher and a knife inflicting deep cuts on his left collar bone, chest and right wrist.

Shock and grief have engulfed Kiamisiori Bogetunya village in Kisii, following the heinous act that took place Sunday morning.

The duo escaped immediately after they realised their dad had died of excessive bleeding. The detectives who have intensified a search for the attackers recovered the murder weapons on the scene.

Sons Sought for Slaying Dad

Two brothers who hacked their 60-year-old father to death yesterday morning at Kiamisiori Bogetunya village in Kisii are being sought by police.

Neighbours who responded to the wails of the old man found him soaked in a pool of blood, with deep cuts on the left collar bone, chest and the right wrist.

“Police have intensified search for the two killer sons, as probe continues to establish the motive behind the deadly attack,” said the DCI on Twitter.

Members of the public have been asked to volunteer any information that may assist in the arrest of the suspects.
