Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah has reportedly left the country after a one-day visit while on transit to an undisclosed location.
The Egyptian is said to have been booked at Mombasa Road-based Hilton Garden Inn on Tuesday night, July 23, at a Nairobi hotel, before departing on Wednesday morning.
According to sources at the hotel, the Premier League star's team asked the staff to keep information on Salah's visit under wraps.
"His team came here and talked to one of our bosses. They didn't want any information out. However, we enjoyed his stay," said a waiter at the hotel," The Star quoted a waiter at the facility.
In a photo that has since emerged online, the star forward can be seen posing with a portrait of President Uhuru Kenyatta's hanging on the wall.
The photo showed the Champions League winner sporting a black cap and sunglasses alongside a yet to be identified man who cut a grinning face.
Whereas details of the visit remain scanty, it is believed Salah came to the country through a diverted flight.
