The Directorate of Criminal Investigations detectives based at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Monday arrested Princess Okoye, a Nigerian national with 77 Pellets of suspected narcotics.
The 25-year -old lady had concealed the drugs in plastic bottles containing milk and upon being placed under observation, she emitted an additional 15 Pellet.
According to the DCI Kenya twitter handle @DCI_Kenya, the drug trafficker was intercepted as she prepared to board a plane to Italy and she remains under observation as investigations continue.
Last year, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) officers intercepted a consignment of narcotics disguised as vitamin tablets at JKIA.

The tablets consisted of 26 cartridges filled with cannabis oil and five sachets of hashish each weighing one gram.
The narcotics which had been sent through a courier service provider had been declared as candy.
The drugs were seized by KRA enforcement officers as they did a routine check at the cargo center (KQ).
The officers made the discovery after subjecting the package to scanning and intrusive verification.
Samples of the narcotics were forwarded to the customs laboratory and the tests indicated the presence of banned substances.
