Demonstrators have poured in the streets of Kikuyu, to express their anger against area MP Kimani Ichungwa. This follows reports food donated by DP William Ruto’s Foundation through the MP had poisoned some families. The residents are also angry at the legislator for constantly disrespecting President Uhuru Kenyatta.
MP Ichungwa is among Jubilee MPs targeted by President Uhuru’s sweeping, that has so far changed Senate leadership. Next phase of Uhuru’s purge, many believe is the National Assembly.
