RideSafe to Pitch at the Africa Startup Summit

RideSafe, a Kenya startup, is among 10 other African firms selected to pitch at the Africa Startup Summit in Kigali next month.

Key among the inaugural event’s agenda will include exploring opportunities and challenges within the tech startup ecosystem, while showcasing the region’s entrepreneurial talent.

RideSafe is an emergency response service that utilises a micro-insurance financing model running on the blockchain application.

“We are confident the businesses we have selected to take part are a strong representation of the high levels of innovation and entrepreneurial spirit within the African tech space, and look forward to showcasing them to potential partners and investors at the event,” said Gabriella Mulligan, co-founder of Disrupt Africa.

Other companies selected to pitch are 7keema (Egypt), Appy Saúde (Angola), Complete Farmer (Ghana), DéMars (Mauritius), Exuus (Rwanda), Jetstream Africa (Ghana), Leaf (Rwanda), Moja Ride (Ivory Coast) and OZÉ from Ghana.
