Monday March 4, 2019-Treasury Cabinet Secretary, Henry Rotich, has come clean regarding the Arror and Kimwerer dams scandals where Kenya lost billions of shillings.

In a statement, Rotich threw Deputy President William Ruto under the bus by siding with the DCI claim that over 21 billion shillings was looted by high profile people from the money meant to build the dams. According to Rotich, it is actually sh20 billion that was lost in the dams scandal. This is contrary to sh7 billion that Ruto was peddling around as the actual money that was allegedly lost in the dams scam. The Arror and Kimwerer dams’ scandal has roped in high and mighty, among them Deputy President William Ruto’s Chief of Staff, Ken Osinde, who are accused of receiving bribes from the contractors of the dam at the expense of millions of Kenyans.
