Safaricom has just unveiled VoLTE, a product that’s aimed at the millions who already enjoy the company’s speedy 4G LTE network across the country. The feature will allow users of the network to place HD-quality voice and video calls over the internet, which is something that only JTL’s Faiba 4G has been offering in the country.
Like Faiba 4G’s VoLTE, you need an eligible device in order to enjoy Safaricom VoLTE services. The telco has provided a list of these devices, which is as shared below.

- Huawei Mate 20 Lite

Of course, we expect that the above list will be updated regularly as more devices gain support for Safaricom VoLTE.
There are some notable omissions like the Galaxy S10e, Huawei P30, and P30 Pro, but we’d like to believe these are just errors that should be corrected soon.
