Safaricom's *544# glitch sees people get free data

There was an isssue with Safaricom where if you ‘checked out’ with Bonga Points when buying bundles, you would get the bundles even if you didn’t have the required number of Bonga Points.

But Safaricom has since fixed that, so right now your *544# queries are either very slow in some options, or won’t load completely.

(Update: Everything loads perfectly now). But the option to buy with Bonga Points is still missing.

Whatever might have caused the issue is not yet known, but it was very quick of Safaricom to notice the glitch, and patch it. Will update post when Safaricom explains what happened.
