Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will be unveiled on August 7, which is less than a month from now. Typically, retailers will want to clear the existing inventory to make room for the new kid on the block and it’s exactly what Safaricom’s Masoko is doing with the latest offer on the Galaxy Note 9.

Originally, the Galaxy Note 9 was priced at Kshs 104,999. After applying the discount, the same device can now be had for Kshs 84,999. This saves you a whopping Kshs 20,000 on the RRP, but it’s not the lowest price we’ve seen for the Note 9.

To sweeten the deal even further, Safaricom is also throwing 4GB data bundle in there as well.

For this price, you are getting one of the most powerful handsets today. It packs a 6.4-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, an Exynos 9810 SoC, 6/128GB memory, a dual 12MP camera on the back, a 4000mAh battery, and, of course, the S Pen stylus.

The Note 9 boots Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box but has since been upgraded to Android 9 Pie. The device is also on the list of those eligible for Samsung Android Q update alongside the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S9.

It’s worth noting that this is a single-SIM model and apparently, it doesn’t ship to regions outside Nairobi, which is kinda absurd.
