The Widow of the Dutch billionaire Tob Cohen has moved to court seeking orders to allow her to attend the burial of the late Cohen which will be held on Monday 23rd September at the Jewish Cemetery on Wangari Maathai road.
In a certificate of urgency before the high court, Sarah Cohen who is yet to be charged with the murder of her husband wants to be escorted to the Jewish Cemetery for the burial ceremony that will be done according to the Jewish rights and strictly a private family affair.
A day after parties representing Sarah Wairimu and Cohen’s sister Gabrielle Cohen agreed on the final sendoff of the late Tob Cohen, the court is expected to give a ruling on whether Wairimu will attend the burial ceremony set for Monday next week.
Wairimu who is currently locked up at the Langata women prison is pleading with the court to issue a production order and further allow her to be escorted to the Jewish Cemetery on Wangari Maathai road where the burial of her husband will take place.

Sarah Wairimu who is the main suspect in the death of Cohen is expected to be charged with murder on Thursday next week after she undergoes a mental examination as directed by the court.
However her urgent application comes barely hours after the tussle on who owns the burial rights of the body of Dutch businessman Tob Cohen came to an end with the DPP, DCI and Prison Authorities requested to facilitate the compromise arrangement so that the late Tob Cohen can be accorded a dignified send-off.
According to the lawyers of both parties, the burial ceremony will be a private family affair and that it is done according to the Jewish rights.
