Sauti Sol Lose More Than 2000 Subscribers After Threatening To Sue Azimio – GhettoRadio 89.5 FM

Award-winning boys band Sauti Sol have lost more than 2000 subscribers on their YouTube Channel following their standoff with Azimio La Umoja-OKA Coalition over copyrights issue.

The group’s 903k subscribers have dropped to 903k after they threatened to sue Azimio for using their son Extravaganza without their permission.

According to Sauti Sol, they are apolitical and have not yet endorsed anyone.

Azimio La Umoja Coalition has since responded saying that they used the song out of love for the group.

The copyrights issue has seen the Kenya Music Copyrights Society and the Copy Rights Board differ on whether Azimio should pay or not pay Sauti Sol.

The reduction of subscribers could be a major set back since subscribers majorly contribute to the success of the content uploaded.
