Thursday January 24, 2019-The working relationship between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, may still be solid after all going by what the two did in Mombasa yesterday.

This is after the two had lunch together just to cement their relationship which had been viewed as headed south. Sources indicated the President and his Deputy had the lunch date after a strategy meeting that lasted for hours during which they discussed a raft of issues. It was established that the Mombasa meeting, which came hot on the heels of Uhuru's decision to declare Interior CS, Fred Matiang'i, supervisor of all National Government projects, was about the Government's 2019 development agenda. The duo was reportedly accompanied by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Justin Muturi, Majority Leader, Aden Duale, and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator, Kipchumba Murkomen.
