DAILY POST: Shock as RAILA finally kicks renegade MPs AISHA JUMWA and DORI out of ODM because RUTO as by-elections now looms-Even DP can’t help them this time 00:28

Friday January 25, 2019-Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) has finally made good it threats to punish the party’s rebels after it kicked out Malindi MP, Aisha Jumwa, and his Msambweni counterpart, Suleiman Dori, from the party for going against ODM Constitution by supporting Deputy President William Ruto’s 2022 Presidential bid instead of supporting Raila Odinga’s.

At a meeting held on Thursday, ODM’s National Executive Committee (NEC) upheld a decision of the disciplinary committee to expel the two politicians who are seen as the face of anti-Raila Odinga politics in Coast region. The committee also made recommendations that six members of Busia and Homa Bay assemblies be kicked out of the Orange Party for gross misconduct.  "We held a special meeting of the National Executive Committee today to consider the matter of party discipline.” “It is the decision of the NEC to uphold discipline by punishing those who violate party and national laws.” “No one is above the law," said party Secretary General, Edwin Sifuna. If the decision to expel the two is adopted by ODM’s National Governing Council, Jumwa and Dori will lose their Parliamentary seats in accordance with Political Party’s Act and Kenyans will go back to the poll in those constituencies to elect other MPs.
