Saturday January 26, 2019-A renowned businessman Jimmy Wanjigi is now preparing to run for a political seat come 2022.

According to fresh details that have emerged, the billionaire businessman is calculating his next steps with regard to venturing into the elective political arena ahead of 2022. According to sources, Wanjigi is preparing to run for a presidential seat in the country; something that has got Deputy President William Ruto and Raila very much worried. It is said Wanjigi has even settled on a political party on whose ticket he will seek the mandate of Kenyans to be their President. The businessman has reportedly chosen the Democratic Party as his bloc of choice and has even approached the party leadership for membership ahead of the much-awaited poll. Wanjigi, who is an ally of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, has previously supported various Presidential hopefuls, including President Uhuru Kenyatta and the NASA leader and it is not clear what his relationship with Raila will be going forward.
