Suspect Arrested as Police Recover 24 Bags of Bhang

Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Thursday morning, 28th October arrested a drug trafficking suspect in possession of 24 bags of cannabis sativa (bhang) whose value is still unknown.

The 37-year-old man identified as George Ntiiti Naibaltau who has been on the radar of DCI’s Transnational Organised Crime detectives was arrested at his home in Syokimau, Machakos County.

The detectives also impounded a motor vehicle registration No. KBN 573Z, Toyota Ipsum, white in colour and believed to have been used by the suspect to transport the drugs.

The suspect is currently being processed at the DCI’s headquarters before being arraigned to face charges.
