Tatu City Project Sets Good Pace For Investment in Kenya- MPs

MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT in the Trade, Industry and Cooperatives committee have lauded the Tatu City Mega project further urging the government to replicating the same in various counties across the country.

Led by committee chairman Kanini Kega, the delegation of six MPs said that the project located in Ruiru Sub County is a positive reflection of President Uhuru Kenyatta agenda on development.

Besides creating employment for approximately 3,000 locals , the legislators noted that has symbolised improved business working relations between Kenya and foreign investors citing the World Bank report which revealed that the country had moved 60 steps in ease of doing business globally.

“We will continue to create a conducive environment for foreign investors to accelerate the rate of jobs creation and value addition in the country,” Kega said.

Recently, Beatrice Njeri, head of residential sales at Tatu City revealed that Kijani Ridge, had recorded 77 per cent sales adding that the it has received massive interest from prospective buyers.

“The competitive advantage that Tatu offers is its meticulous planning. It is a controlled environment in that it inhibits neighbours from putting up structures like flats that will devalue a property. Schools, hospitals and other social amenities are all within the same area,” she added.
