Ten applicants have been shortlisted for interviews for the position of Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Commission Secretary.
Those shortlisted include Acting CEO Marjan Marjan Hussein, Joel Lusweti Mabonga, Humphrey Okuku Nakitari, Zephaniah Okeyo Aura and Eng. Paul Christopher Kioko.
Others are Nancy Wanjiku Kariuki, Dr Elishiba Murigi Muthoni, Dr Benjamin Kipchumba Tarus, Anne Kerubo Mwasi and Dr Khalid Billow.
In an advert in the local dailies, IEBC says the 10 shortlisted candidates were picked from 97 applicants.

The commission will interview the candidates at its Anniversary Towers offices from June 24th to 26th.
The position fell vacant after former CEO Ezra Chiloba was sacked on accusations of failing to appear before a disciplinary committee to respond to audit querries on procurement of election materials.
