TerryAnne Chebet resigns from her top position at Metropol TV

- TerryAne said she was leaving TV to focus on her personal ventures

- She did not disclose if she will be making a comeback or that was it for her

- The mother of two left Metropol TV about a year after joining as the host for Markets Today Show as well as the General Manager

Former Citizen TV business news anchor TerryAnne Chebet has left her prestigious employ at Metropol TV.

The revered journalists announced her exit from the JKUAT Towers based media station on Tuesday, June 30, afternoon, through social media.

In a lengthy Instagram post seen by TUKO.co.ke, the mother of two said she was leaving the station to focus on her personal ventures.

Through her post, the riveting TV siren thanked the entire Metropol TV team for cooperation and smooth work environment.

''Today I say goodbye to my incredible team at Metropol TV . What an incredible journey it has been! You have taught me the real definition of being a leader and what teamwork is. This wasn’t an easy decision to make, especially because of your dedication and commitment to getting the job done. Our commitment to telling the stories of mama Mboga’s, SMEs' and startups has inspired me greatly and I will take this to my next journey. I deeply appreciate you all for your viewership, criticism and suggestions that helped us build the first 24 hour Business News Channel in Kenya,'' TerryAnne wrote.

The journalist disclosed she ditched her top job at the station to focus on her own ventures namely Scarlet Digital and Keyara Organics.

Her farewell crushed some of her fans and followers who admitted on the comments section they were going to miss her big time.

TerryAnne left Metropol TV about a year after joining as the host for Markets Today Show as well as the General Manager.

Before Metropol, she was working for Fanaka TV where she landed after her exit from Citizen TV.
