Police have apprehended the two armed robbers that mugged a man under duress on Thursday morning in Kilimani. The two had disguised themselves as joggers.
As seen in the viral CCTV footage, the two were seen snatching the man’s rucksack in the morning hours, threatening to take on him should he dare to object.
One was armed with a knife while the other had a gun.
Kilimani OCPD Lucas Ogara had stated that investigations had been launched following the clip that sparked lots of reactions online though the victim had not recorded any statement.
A day after, the two robbers have been nabbed and are currently being held by the police.
The officers were able to trace the motorbike they had boarded.
Police also recovered the firearm in their possession.
