Monday, March 04, 2019- Nyeri Senior Magistrate, Pauline Omungala, has been detained for nine days to allow further investigations into her role in the cold blooded murder of her lawyer husband, Robert Chesang.

A retired senior police officer has also been arrested in connection with the murder.

Mr. Chesang was killed on February 17, 2019 after thugs stormedhis home in Moke Estate, Lukenya and pumped seven bullets into his body. Chesang lived in a hotel for months after he was kicked out of his matrimonial home by his ‘violet’ wife. He only moved to the house after his wife was transferred to Nyeri in December 2018.
