Time for handcuffs, fight graft: Musalia to Government : The Standard

Amani National Congress Party Leader Musalia Mudavadi has called on the Government to act swiftly on the latest graft claims touching on its top officers. Speaking in Nakuru during a press brief, Musalia said time has come for leaders to stop explaining handshakes and engage handcuffs.  Billions he said has been lost while the government is silent. The prevailing state of affairs he said cannot be allowed to go on.

"The government appears want to make us accept these scandals as normal provided that there is a rhetoric about them, we demand that we must now begin seeing handcuffs," said Musalia. He referred to the latest scandal where an Italian based company CMC Di Rivanna was awarded three tenders....more follows.
