‘Top Govt Official Tried to Assassinate Uhuru Twice,’ Mr Money Bags Stanley Livondo Claims

Businessman-cum-politician Stanley Livondo has shocked Kenyans with a claim that someone has tried to kill President Uhuru Kenyatta – not once, but twice.

Mr. Money Bags, as he is popularly known, alleged a top government official he did not mention orchestrated the murder of President Kenyatta, but the plan flopped.

Speaking in Thika Stadium, Kiambu County, during the homecoming and thanksgiving rally, the former Lang’ata parliamentary candidate, stated the Head of State would have died through a plane crash.

“The President was heading to the United States via Dubai and someone wanted his plane to crash. That’s a serious matter, but Mt Kenya people are taking it lightly,” he said.

He added that the Mountain will regret for many years if they elect a certain presidential candidate.

“Mt Kenya people, you are my friends. If you vote for that man you are following blindly, you will be in the political cold for 50 years,” he said.

Apparently, Livondo was talking about the two times Uhuru has had a saga with his planes.

Six years ago, the Kenyan leader the country for the US through Dubai, but the flight did not materialise.

A few hours in the airspace, officials at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) received a distress call that the journey had aborted and the presidential jet had turned back.

While State House said the President had taken a wrong route, sources within the airport revealed that the plane developed a mechanical problem, and the flight engineer made an advisory of not proceeding.

The signal of the President returning mid-air sent the whole airport into an emergency mode.

Again in 2019, the Head of State was at the Kisumu International Airport when he abruptly canceled his flight to Nairobi.

Those who were present narrated that the pilot had switched on the engine ready to fly, but the President was pulled back by ODM leader Raila Odinga just before boarding.

In an incident that left VIP handlers confused, the former Prime Minister whispered something to Uhuru and they left the facility in two SUVs, but without any security detail. The presidential escort had to trail them from a distance.

The ‘Handshake’ brothers were minutes later sighted at the Kisumu port.

President Kenyatta’s flight happened four hours later and no details were provided.
