Good recent examples of Nyumba Ndogo are socialite Amber Ray and controversial Nairobi political aspirant Karen Nyamu. All was well until hell broke loose with the revelations of their affairs with married men. 

For Karen, it is mugithi musician Samidoh. After he publicly apologised to his wife, Edith, for cheating on her, everything cooled down.

However, it was only yesterday 10th August, when Karen revealed that she is yet again expecting Samidoh’s baby. This is after she posted on her Instagram that her baby daddy had beaten her up. Karen vowed to take action against him to serve as a lesson to such other men. 

For Amber, weeks after she publicly disclosed that she had ended her relationship with matatu boss Jimal Roho Safi, it is alleged that they are still dating. The two were allegedly spotted at a hotel in Diani on the South Coast on vacation. This comes after Jimal had reportedly eaten humble pie and gone back to his first wife Amira. 

Well. it’s perhaps high time women started to embrace polygamy. 

‘My Sister Was Brutally Murdered’, Anerlisa Claims

Keroche Breweries heiress Anerlissa Muigai has yet to move on after her younger sister, Tecra’s death.

On Wednesday, 11th August, Arnelissa took to her Insta-stories, claiming that her sister was brutally murdered and did not die of an accident as people have been forced to believe. She revealed that one of the hardest bones had been broken in her late sister’s body. She explained that only a serious accident or somebody using a blunt object could have caused such injuries. 

One of her close friends, Phoina, is believed to have opened a fresh wound after she posted a video of her hanging out with old beach Omar Lali, who was Tecra’s boyfriend. He is a key suspect in Tecra’s killing. 

‘Kovu’ Series Actress Trisha Khalid Exposed

Kenyan actress Trisha Khalid has been forced to admit that she is dating. The curvy Kovu actress could not deny it as the information had been revealed by blogger Edgar Obare. 

She then proudly explained that he is the one who finances the flashy lifestyle she parades on social media. It is alleged that the man identified as Joseph Vincent Onyangi, is married with four children.

Gone are the days when only girls dated older men for material benefits. Today, young men are increasingly dating older women for upkeep. This is so yet not many men would publicly admit they are looking for a woman to finance them. 

However, society rapidly changing. Recently, a young man, who carried a billboard in Nairobi’s central business district looking for a sugar mummy, angered many passersby. Some told him to stop the nonsense and go and work hard. But many young men living comfortable lives cannot explain how they earn a living.

Chris Brown’s Love For Kiswahili ‘Simba’ 

American singer Chris Brown has elevated the African identity after choosing to give his son a Kiswahili nickname ‘Simba’ (Lion). The father of two also recently bought himself a dog and named it, ‘Damu’, which means blood. 

The rapper-cum-actor is proving to be a fan of the lingua franca of East Africa, especially Tanzania and Kenya.
