Tunisian Insurtech startup Avidea raises $696k Pre-Series A funding for expansion. – TechMoran

Avidea, a Tunisian digital insurance startup, has raised 2 million dinars ($696k) in Pre-Series A funding round led by Capsa Capital Partners, one of Tunisia’s largest private equity firms, and the specialist investment vehicle 216 CAPITAL FUND I, which is managed by 216 CAPITAL ADVENTURES.

As the company enters a critical phase of industrialization and internalization, this funding will enable the addition of new talent to the Avidea team, as well as the expansion of the product’s functional scope and the look for new markets.

AVIDEA is a startup specializing on the digitalization of automobile claims processing and fraud prevention. It was founded in 2017.  Its main goal is to assist insurance companies in lowering the cost of automotive claims while improving the customer experience.
