Wananchi Group to launch Zuku Fiber across Kenya, expands to Nakuru



 Wananchi Group Kenya is eyeing coverage of the whole country with expansion of services to Nakuru town, it’s third city after Nairobi and Mombasa in a regional expansion move. From Nakuru, Wananchi Group says it will launch in Naivasha, Kisumu and Thika among others.

The introduction of Zuku Fibers’ services to Nakuru adds to its more than 400,000 homes served by Zuku in Kenya on its Fiber to the Home (FTTH) services. In Nakuru Zuku Fiber will be offering its popular Triple Play services with home internet, digital television and telephone services to customers.

According to Wananchi Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Thomas Hintze, “The launch of Zuku Fiber in Nakuru is a continutation of the expansion plans of Zuku Fiber across Kenya and the region. Zuku Fiber has continued to expand its network coverage in Kenya and has the largrest coverage with more than 330,000 homes in Nairobi and Mombasa. Last year we further expanded our footprint to include the regional cities of Dar-es-salaam and Kampala”.

The Nakuru Zuku Fiber launch will see the firm’s customers in Nakuru enjoy Zuku Fibers Triple Play services which delivers a combination of Home internet, Television and Telephone services. Zuku Fiber will be offering the first One Hundred (100) customers in Nakuru FREE Digital Television services for one year and a free home telephone. Furthermore all customers taking up the services in 2018 will be offered discounted  Zuku Fiber Triple Play packages until the end of the year.

All Zuku Fiber packages are available at the Zuku Fiber shop in Nakuru located at Westside Mall, at Zuku Fiber branded tents and from uniformed Zuku Fiber Sales Representatives. Initially Zuku Fiber in Nakuru will be available in Naka 1 and Naka 2 within the Free Area / Area 58. Zuku Fiber plans to extend its network coverage further to provide services to other residential areas in Nakuru.

Zuku Fiber Triple Play offers Internet speeds of upto 250Mbps with packages starting from as low as 5, 10, 30, 50, 100 and its pedigree 250Mbps.  Zuku’s Digital TV services including popular Kenyan Free-to-Air channels and a large selection of over 126 TV channels covering news, sports, movies, lifestyle, documentaries and entertainment among others. Customers can choose to add more bouquets to their Triple Play service by subscribing to Premium and Asian bouquet services to enhance their viewing pleasure. Zuku’s home telephone offers the lowest local calling rates to of Ksh 1/= to ALL NETWORKS.
