Wanyama’s sister becomes first Kenyan basketball player to play in Spanish league

Victor Wanyama and McDonald Mariga’s sister, Mercy Wanyama is set to become the first ever Kenyan to play professionally in Spain.

This is after the former Equity player signed a professional contract with second tier, Adba Aviles.

With just six games remaining in the league, Wanyama is reported to have signed a performance-based contract and could be in line to play this Saturday when her side faces Avril.
