‘You Are the Most Beautiful Lady I Have Ever Seen,’ Luo Man Writes Romantic Letter to CAS Mercy Mwangangi

Not so long ago, the Ministry of Health Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS), Dr. Mercy Mwangangi, revealed that she wanted a man to marry her.

She was speaking at Raila Odinga’s rally in Migori County, where she asserted that her taste lay with the men from the lakeside. She was in Migori to oversee the official launch of Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), Awendo Campus.

“Baba (Raila Odinga) has assured me that I can get a husband from this region. Please help me get a husband,” she said with a smile on her face in her closing remark.

In response to Mercy Mwangangi’s desire, a Luo man named Lawrence Ochieng has jotted down a love letter to the CAS, with confessions on how he has been engrossed with her love ever since she appeared on national TV, to announce the Coronavirus viral load and advice Kenyans its precautionary measures.

Here is the love letter, written to the CAS.

“Dear, Mercy Mwangangi

Wow, I am so happy to finally be writing this out. I have such strong feelings for you, and it’s nice to get them out… Well, I’m just gonna say it, how I wish I had the guts to say to you in person. After making your first public appearance announcing the state of the Novel Coronavirus, I couldn’t believe how cute you were.

I Just wanted to tell you that I’ve been thinking about you all day and how much you mean to me. You are the most beautiful lady I have ever seen… You’re cute, funny, smart, and nice, any guy would be lucky to have you. When I see you, my heart skips a beat. I like you, and I hope you will give me a chance and I promise to be there for you when you need me. I would do anything for you. I will always cherish, love, respect, and support you.

I thought sharing these feelings would be one of the hardest things for me, but honestly, telling you how amazing you are is so easy. The thought of you reading this letter and feeling so loved, appreciated, and valued brings me nothing but happiness. You have touched my heart, in such a beautiful way that I am not afraid anymore. Thank you for being you.

Regardless of your feelings, write me back. Even if it doesn’t work out. I would keep that letter forever. And if a soulmate who is not romantic is the better option for our relationship, that too is still such a gift to me.
