Kenya will be making a comeback to the continental scene after a 15-year absence in the showpiece, making their last appearance in the competition in 2004 when the tournament was staged in Tunisia.

Meanwhile, despite having a nearly fully fit squad to parade at the June 30 Stadium, head coach Sebastien Migne is still grappling with injury concerns ahead of the clash.
Defensive duo Brian Mandela and Joash Onyango are among the players who will not take part in the opener, with the latter said to have picked an ankle injury during a training session, a day to the encounter.

TUKO.co.ke now takes a looks at Kenya's probable lineup against the North Africans giants on Sunday evening.
Despite his recent gaffes against Madagascar and DR Congo, Ethiopia-based keeper Patrick is set to start in goal.
Gor Mahia utility man Philemon Otieno is expected to occupy the right-back position with Romania based Abud Omar fitting in at the left-back position.
With Joash out of game, forgotten man David 'Calabar' Owino could be in line to partner Musa Mohamed at the heart of Stars defence.

Captain Victor Wanyama will start in the midfield alongside ever-green Sofapaka utility man Dennis Odhiambo who has proved to be a cog in Stars ranks under coach Sebastien Migne.
Pacy winger Ayub Timbe impressed against Madagascar and DR Congo and is set to start on the right flank, with Sweden-based midfielder Erick Johanna on the left-flank.
Kashiwa Reysol man Michael Olunga will lead the attackline, with Gor Mahia midfield wizard Francis Kahata playing right behind him.
On the bench, Migne will have the likes of Masoud Juma, John Avire, Paul Were and Johanna Omolo.
