Bungoma County to build Sh650m stadium

The County Government of Bungoma is set to begin construction of the Masinde Muliro Kanduyi Stadium with the two-phased project expected to cost an estimated KSh650 million.

The County Executive for Youth, Gender and Sports Dr. Everlynne Kakai has said they will work in collaboration with other partners to deliver the facility that will a 20,000-seater capacity.

Speaking during a public participation event held at redcross auditorium in kanduyi Dr. Kakai also invited public views on the construction of the stadium since that will be a means to enable the department to serve the public better.

The stadium design will be placed on the county’s portal and on billboards across the region once the construction begins.
