The CAF Confederation Cup quarter final return leg match between Sudan's El Hilal and Tunisia's Etoile du Sahel has been postponed due to political unrest in Sudan.
On Thursday, April 11, the political unrest that was witnessed in Sudan over the recent years saw Sudan president Omar Al-Bashir step down from the throne after 30 years at the helm.

Al Hilal had earlier written to Confederation of African Football (CAF) requesting for the postponement of the clash that would have been played on Sunday, April 14.
CAF have now released a statement confirming that the match has been indefinitely suspended until a later date.

"Due to the current security situation in Sudan, the Total Caf Confederation Cup second leg between El Hilal (Sudan) and Etoile du Sahel (Tunisia) has been postponed indefinitely.

The match was due to take place on Sunday 14th April 2019,at the El Hilal Stadium in Omdurman.

"The new date, kick off time and venue will be decided by Caf and communicated to all parties in due time," read the statement from Caf.
Etoile registered a 3-1 win in the first leg that was staged in Tunisia last Sunday.
