The National Assembly’s Communication, Information and Innovation Committee has promised to push for more allocation of funds for modernization of the state broadcaster Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).
The committee which toured the corporation Tuesday also said it will consider a request by the state broadcaster to offloads its debts dating back to 2000.
The ICT Parliamentary Committee was on a fact finding tour at Kenya Broadcasting Corporation.
Led by the National Assembly ICT Chair William Kisang the team toured different KBC departments including Television and radio studio, TV center, radio library among others.

They said modernization of equipment at the corporation was key to making it remain competitive in the changing world of technology.
