DAILY POST: Mass exodus from KTN continues as another talented journalist quits – See his parting shot

Thursday, February 28, 2019 Standard Media Group owned TV station, KTN, has lost yet another talented journalist in Yussuf Ibrahim.
Taking to twitter, Yusuf announced that Wednesday was his last
day working at the media house as he bid farewell to KTN News viewers.
I want to bid farewell to
all @KTNKenya viewers. Today marks my last day
with @KTNKenya 

“It’s
been an amazing journey. I now look forward to a new position that brings
forth new challenges and adds more diverse experience to my career.. Thank you
all for the support #KTNPrime,”
 read Yussuf Ibrahim’s
tweet.



Yusuf joined the Standard Group in April 2017 from K24 where he
used to host a weekly show dubbed 
Bottomline Africa and was later
on moved to Prime Time News where he co-anchored with Akisa Wandera.

He joins a growing list of experienced
anchors who have recently quit KTN and joined rival media houses.

Others include, Betty Kyallo who joined
K24, Mashirima Kapombe and Yvonne Okwara both joined Citizen TV while
investigate journalist, Dennis Onsarigo, was appointed
the Director of Communications in Taita Taveta County.
