Details of the last message Oliver Mtukudzi sent to Suzanna Owiyo

Yesterday, we were hit with sad news that Legendary jazz musician passed away.

Oliver’s record label Gallo Records confirmed the news but said there were no other details available.

Oliver was a sweetheart to many including Suzanna Owiyo, who still can’t believe that he is no longer with us.

Taking to social media, she shared the last conversation she had with Oliver, as he checked up on her when Dusit was attacked.

Tuku my dear brother, tell me it’s not true. Just the other day you checked on me..trying to find out if i was safe after #DusitHotel terror attack. I celebrate you. Africa has lost a true gem, an Icon, a Legend. Shine on my brother. It is well Oliver Mtukudzi #RIPTuku

She also went ahead to thank Yvonne Chaka Chaka for sharing a photo they took together with Oliver.
