Facebook users are reporting that the ‘Status Update’ box has disappeared from their news feeds, leaving them unable to post comments, photos or videos.

The bizarre issue appears to be affecting users in the UK and United States, with dozens taking to social media to complain.
“So is anyone else’s Facebook b0rked? Seems that the dialogue box to post a status update has been removed from my News Feed,” tweeted Ken Yeung, Technology Editor at Flipboard.
“Facebook isn’t giving me the status update window (on my computer) It’s just news feed stories. I can’t post anything, what’s going on?” wrote another Twitter user.
