Fight Uhuru, MP’s urge Ruto – Weekly Citizen

Yesterday at night legislator Gladys Wanga led a group of Members of National assembly in harshly attacking the Deputy president William Ruto.

The legislators came in defence of the Interior CS Fred Matiangi where they accused the DP of continuously attacking the CS.

They accused him of ranting bitterly and cursing the people he believes owes him the presidency come 2022 and they have taken different paths against his wish.

MP Wanga further alleged that the DP’s anger is not just about the Presidency and the BBI report released lately but the taps of corruption that he has been enjoying have run dry and the fake projects he has been launching countrywide.

They urged him to face the president whom he was elected together with and not unleash bitter remarks towards civil servants like Matiangi who are his juniors.

In reading the statement Wanga said the DP is not sure of his worth and his future and gave him to options to either face the president or quit and forge a new career path.

Sources from the DP office say the remarks have not been taken lightly and they are to issue a statement to counter.

Miguna Miguna on his side has questioned the rationale in attack Ruto, questioning where the President was while DP was looting.

He accused them of being dishonest and Raila Odinga being a con-man.
