Free Bobi Wine trends as politician arrested once again

Bobi Wine has been a thorn in Yoweri Museveni’s side the past couple of years.

The famous Ugandan musician shocked many when he announced that he would be joining politics after a successful stint as a career artiste.

And just like Kizza Besigye before him, his entrance has shown the dark and cynical world of Ugandan politics.

This past week, he was again arrested and many are unhappy with this heavy-handed move by the ruling junta.

This twist of events has borne a trending topic on Twitter with the hashtag being the very original Free Bobi Wine.
