Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, has identified at least five players failing under club boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Neville's revelation came days after United suffered a 4-0 defeat against Everton on Sunday, April 21, at Goodinson Park.

The embarrassing result forced Solskjaer to apologise to fans with a promise of making amends in the coming days.

The defeat further implied that the Red Devils have now lost six out of their last eight matches and now remain in danger of failing to seal a Champions League place.

Neville has now hit out at United's key players who have paraded poor performances in the recent past.

The former United defender named, key among them Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford, arguing they have the potential to turn around the club's fortunes but have failed.

"There are five forwards at that club – Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and Paul Pogba – who is nearer to the front,"Neville told Sky Sports.
"Star players, those five, they can be the best in their position, but all of them in this moment in time are well below their standard. Alexis Sanchez… I don’t know what’s happened to him," he added.

Meanwhile, following the defeat to the Toffees, the Old Trafford dwellers now sit sixth on the log with 64 points.
