Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has revealed that coach Hasan Oktay left with all his household stuff amid reports that the tactician may not return the club.

Oktay left the country last Wednesday to tend to family matters in Turkey, and was expected to resume duty on Tuesday morning in readiness for the Caf Champions League match against Aigle Noir of Burundi.

He failed to show up and the club now believes Gor's gaffer may not return to the club.

Rachier confirmed the tactician had carried his personal stuff leaving his house empty.

“His leave ended on Monday and we expected him to report back to work today. He has not shown up and we are worried. I visited his house and to my surprise, he had carried his stuff.
"I don’t understand what that means but we will wait for official communication from him before we can make any pronouncement,” Rachier said.

The club is not taking chances and according to Rachier they have already lined up a replacement in case he fails to return.

“We have to be ready. There are a number of coaches we interviewed in the past and if he doesn’t show up we will replace him, we are ready for anything,” he added.
