Kenyan Premier League reigning champions Gor Mahia have signed midfielder Hashim Sempala from Tusker FC on a two-year deal.
The midfielder has been one key member of the Brewers team since joining them from Uganda’s Bul FC in 2016.
He was named the captain of the side at the start of the season following the imminent departure of stalwart Lloyd Wahome to National Super League side Wazito FC.
Sempala will now have to fight for a place in the Gor Mahia team with Ernest Wendo.
