Gor Mahia stretch KPL lead to seven points after KCB draw

Defending champions Gor Mahia have stretched their lead at the top of the Kenyan Premier League table to seven points after coming from behind to draw 3-3 with KCB in Machakos.

Bandari FC, on the other hand, registered a 1-0 win over Ulinzi Stars at the Mbaraki stadium in Mombasa.

Bandari FC strengthened their grip on the third position in the Kenyan Premier League after beating Ulinzi Stars 1-0 in Mombasa.

After a goalless first half, Hassan Abdalla netted for Bandari to earn the hosts three points that pushed them up to 48 points and left Ulinzi Stars 9th on the table with 36 points.

In the other match played today Gor Mahia played to a three all draw with KCB.

Gor Mahia found themselves three goals down in the 33rd minute but scored two goals before the break.

KCB defended their one-goal lead for the better part of the second half but the holders levelled in added time to walk away with a point.

The draw means Gor Mahia are now leading the table on 59 points, seven points above Sofapaka and eleven points above third-placed Bandari.
