Weeks after leaving gospel singer Bahati's EMB records, soft spoken singer David wonder has dropped a new hit dubbed Washangaze.

The singer was among the jilted artistes who no longer wanted to be affiliated with Bahati after a misunderstanding ensued.

Through a series of Instagram posts spotted by TUKO.co.ke, the singer debuted his song as he opened a new chapter in his music career.

"Good evening guys, I know it has been months since my last release so let us not waste time," he wrote.

Before the mass exodus at Bahati's record, a number of musicians accused the chap of numerous atrocities.

Some claimed his wife, Diana Marua, was behind their grievances.

Big boss, who managed one of Bahati's artistes said the chap once forced David to perform during a concert while nursing a broken leg.

David sited the reason for his sudden exit to be the need to rebrand himself.

“We were given the freedom by the director to either stay or leave. I took this opportunity to launch the brand David Wonder,” the singer said.
